New Zealand were 24 for one in their second innings at stumps on the second day of the second and final Cricket Test against India at Wellington today. The home side still trail by 222 runs with nine wickets in hand. Hamish Rutherford and Kane Williamson were at the crease. Zaheer Khan struck early in the innings, sending Peter Fulton to the pavilion.Earlier, India were all out for 438. Ajinkya Rahane's magnificent century gave India a comfortable lead of 246 runs. Rahane scored 118 runs and Shikhar Dhawan missed a second consecutive hundred by two runs. Skipper Dhoni made 68 runs. Dhoni and Rahane added a crucial 120 runs for the seventh wicket.In the first innings, India bundled out New Zealand for a paltry score of 192 on the opening day Friday. Ishant Sharma's 6-wicket haul for 51 runs helped India take early control of the match.
