Union Petroleum Minister Veerappa Moily on Friday inaugurated the first "Synthetic Rubber Plant" of the country at Panipat in Haryana.The plant is set up with the help of Japan and Taiwan at a cost of over Rs. 958 crore. Inaugurating it, Moily said, it would bring new revolution in the rubber industry and will produce 120 kilo tonnes synthetic rubber annually, which would be used in industrial units for manufacturing automobile and daily need products.
