Four Public Sector Enterprises including Bharat Coking Coal Limited were awarded the Turnaround Awards for 2013. Chairman of the Board for Reconstruction of Public Sector Enterprises (BRPSE) Dr Nitish Sengupta gave away the awards at a function in New Delhi today. The other Public Sector Enterprises, which bagged the award are National Film Development Corporation Limited, National Projects Construction Corporation Limited and SAIL Refractory Unit. Talking to reporters Dr Sengupta said since its inception, BRPSE has helped in the revival of 58 loss making central public sector enterprises in the country. He said the emphasis of revival has been more on empowering and enabling the sick units rather than on mere cash infusion.
