The Eighth game of the World Chess Championship between defending champion Viswanathan Anand and Challenger Magnus Carlen of Norway ended in a draw in Chennai today. The draw gave the players half-a-point each. Carlsen now leads by five points to three in the 12-game contest. While Anand has a lot to catch up, Carlsen needs just three draws in the remaining four games to win his maiden world title.
