He will clash with Alberto Mellian of Argentina in the pre-quarterfinals.Nanao beat Akeel Ahmed of Scotland in 49 kg. category. He will clash with Anthony Chakon Rivera of Porto Rico in the pre-quarterfinals.With Shiva and Nanao, the number of Indian boxers in the pre-quarters has gone up to four after Asian Gamessilver-medallist Manpreet Singh (91 kg.) and Commonwealth Games champion Manoj Kumar (64 kg.) earlier booked their last-16 stage berths.
