Bhutan has sought investments from India in different sectors like infrastructure, power, education, IT and healthcare to further enhance bilateral economic ties. Addressing captains of Indian industry in New Delhi today, visiting Bhutan Prime Minister Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay said infrastructure development holds tremendous opportunity. This includes setting up of special economic zones, dry ports and industrial townships in public-private-partnership mode. Mr Tobgay added that India continues to be the largest trading partner of Bhutan.
