Top seeded Indo-Russian pair of Prarthana G. Thombare and Julia Valetova emerged champions in doubles as they beat Russian pair of Viktoriya Bogoslovskaya and Evgeniya Svintsova in straight sets 6-1, 6-4 in the final of the 10,000 dollar ITF Women's Tennis Tournament in Egypt today. In another match in Algiers, left handed and top seeded Sherazad Benamar from France overame second seeded Shweta Rana from Delhi in three sets in the singles final of the 10,000 dollar ITF Women's Tennis Tournament today. Shweta lost the first set at 1-6 but rallied to level the score one-set-all by winning the second set at 6-3. However, Benamar dominated the third and final set which she won by 6-1 to wear the title.
