Afghanistan have lifted their maiden SAFF football Trophy. In the final of the championship in Kathmandu on Wednesday, they defeated defending champions India by a convincing margin of Two-Nil. The goal scorers for the winners were Mustafa Azadzoy in the 8th minute and Sanjar Ahmadi in the 63rd minute.In the final of the last edition of the tournament in New Delhi two years back, Afghanistan had lost to India 0-4.The next edition of the SAFF Championship will be held in India in 2015.
