President Pranab Mukherjee will confer Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award on ace shooter Ronjon Sodhi today. He will also honour the recipients of Dronacharya Awards, Arjuna Awards, Dhyan Chand Awards and Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar at a specially organised function at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi.Arjuna awardees include Virat Kohli- Cricket, Kavita Chahal-Boxing, Gaganjit Bhullar-Golf, Saba Anjum- Hockey, Rajkumari Rathore-Shooting, PV Sindhu-Badminton and Neha Rathi-Wrestling.Apart from a medal and citation, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Awardee will receive a cash prize of 7.5 lakh rupees while Arjuna, Dronacharya and Dhyan Chand Awardees will receive statuettes, citations and cash prize of 5 lakh rupees each. Recipients ofRashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar will be given Trophies.All India Radio, Delhi will broadcast live the Award presentation ceremony from 05.55 p.m. It will also be available on other frequencies.
