Petroleum Minister Verappa Moily has announced financial assistance of five lakh rupees to the family of late athlete Makhan Singh. According to an official press release, Petroleum Sports Promotion Board has agreed to release the money and the cheque will be presented to the widow of the late sportsperson in Delhi next week.
