India's shuttle queen Saina Nehwal and P.V. Sindhu today stormed into the Women's Singles quarterfinals of the World Badminton Championships in Guangzhou, China. World number three Saina defeated fifteenth seed Porntip Buranaprasertsuk of Thailand, in straight games, 18-21, 21-16, 21-14. For a place in the semi-finals, Saina will meet the winner of the other pre-quarterfinal match between Japan's Sayaka Takahashi and Yeon Ju Bae of Korea.Sindhu beat Yahan Wang 21-18, 23-21 in the other pre-quarterfinals. In the Men's section P. Kashyap entered the quarterfinal beating Yun Hu of Hong Kong 21-13, 21-16.
