Afghanistan will participate in the National Athletics Championship to be held in Pune from Wednesday.Five-member Afghan team left Kabul on Monday for India. The Championship will be held at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi area of Pune and 578 athletes from 45 countries are likely to participate in it.War torn Afghanistan is emerging as a strong sporting nation. Its sports persons have proved their ability in several international sporting events including the Olympics. It may not be a wonder if 5-member Afghan Athletics contingent grabs some medals in the National Athletics Championship.
