India have named a 108-member squad for the 20th Asian Athletics Championships which will be held in Pune from July 3 to 7. Krishna Poonia, Tintu Luka, Vikas Gowda and Sudha Singh are some of the medal prospects in the squad. Besides, there will be Preeja Sreedharan, O P Jaisha and Mayooka Johny who will be seen in action at the Balewadi Sports Complex. The squad will comprise of 56 men and 52 women athletes. In the men's 100-metre event, Renjith K G, Anirudh Kalidas Gujjar, M Vijay Kumar, Manikandan, Krishan Kumar Rane and Sameer Mon will seek to represent India.While in the women's section of the same event, India will have Asha Roy, Merlin K Joseph, Sharadha Narayanan, Sini S, Srabani Nanda and Bhagyashree Shirke.Renjith Maheshwari will feature for the hosts in the triple jump event.
