Priscah Jeptoo of Kenya has won the women's race of the London Marathon. The title in the men's section has been bagged by Ethiopian Tsegaye Kebede. The competition took place amid high security and there have been no reports of any incident. Earlier, the London Marathon runners fell silent at the start line in memory of those who died in the Boston bomb attacks. The event took place just six days after the attacks on the Boston marathon.
