Over 530 Indian nationals have arrived home safely from Tripoli, capital of the strife torn Libya .They reached the Indira Gandhi International airport in New Delhi by two Air India flights this morning. Our correspondent reports that the government has made elaborate arrangements at the airport to help the passengers. Apart from the officials of the Ministy of External Affairs, Resident Commissioners of 12 states were also present at the airport to help the passengers.Ten state governments have set up help desks at Terminal 2.All the services have been provided for free.Our correspondent reports, three naval warships have also set sail for Malta yesterday. While INS Jalashwa and INS Mysore left from Mumbai, INS Aditya set sail from Karwar. A ministry of External Affairs release says, last evening, 88 persons have crossed over by road from Libya to Ras Jedir in Tunisia. They were received by officials of Embassy of India, Tunis, who have set up a camp . All 88, who work for Punj Lloyd, have since been housed in ‘Best Hotel’ in Djerba in Tunisia, from where they are likely to be flown back to India soon.
