52nd IFFI announces its prestigious line up of entries for international competition section

<span style="color: #222222;">The 52nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) has announced its prestigious line up of entries for the international competition section. Out of the 15 films included in the competition includes the Bangladeshi film No Ground Beneath the Feet.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Bangladeshi film 'Paayer Tolay Mati Nai'  or No Ground Beneath the Feet directed by Mohammad Rabby Mridha has been included in the international competition section of the 52nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) to be held at Goa between 20-28 November.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' This is Bangladeshi director Mohammad Rabby Mridha's feature debut. It stars Mostafa Monwar, Priyam Archi and Deepanwita Martin.<br />'' 'Paayer Tolay Mati Nai narrates the life story of an ordinary man who walks through conflicts in his life involving work, family and morality.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' This film tells the story of an ambulance driver Saiful from  Dhaka who experiences death on a daily basis. However, poverty is his biggest challenge as his family faces shrinking resources with river erosion destroying their land in the village. The film depicts the struggle of a person driven to the brink due to the stress caused by poverty further aggravated by natural disasters caused by climate change.<br />'' Earlier, this film was selected for the 26th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) held in October.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' The International Competition section is one of the most important sections of festivals that feature some of the best films of the year.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' 'Paayer Tolay Mati Nai' will compete with 14 other films for the Golden Peacock and other awards during the IFFI.<br />''<br />''The best film in the category selected for the Golden Peacock award carries a cash prize of Rs. 40 lakh to be shared equally between the Director and Producer. </span>
