In the Kolkata test, England skipper Alstair Cook played a superb knock to help his side take a mammoth 193 runs lead in first innings over India and tighten their grip. England ended Day 3 at 509 for six with Matt Prior and Graeme Swann at the crease. The duo also shared 56 run partnership. Earlier, Cook was run out with his individual score at 190. England lost their 6th wicket when Indian spinner Pragyan Ojha dismissed Samit Patel who played an useful knock of 33. With this, Ojha has taken 3 English wickets so far while Ishant Sharma and R.Ashwin claimed one each.The scores: India 316England: 509 for 6
