The ninth senior national women's boxing championships will begin in Guwahati on Saturday. Olympic bronze-medallist M C Mary Kom will, however, skip this year's championships as she wants youngsters to come up in the domestic arena.The five-time world champion said this in Greater Noida, near Delhi, today on the sidelines of a press conference to announce the setting up of a Boxing Academy in the National capital region.The 29-year-old mother-of-two, who clinched the 51kg category bronze in the London Olympics, is looking for a second Olympics appearance in 2016. The diminutive Manipuri was the lone Indian in fray when women's boxing made its Olympic debut in London.
