In Arunachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Nabam Tuki inaugurated the 32nd Boys and Girls Junior National Taekwondo Championship 2012 at Naharlagun on Sunday.MP of Bhutan National Assembly, Mr Dupthop and secretary general Taekwondo Federation of India, Mr T Praveen Kumar also attended the opening ceremony.Speaking on the occasion, Nabam Tuki said the organising this megaevent will put Arunachal in the sports arena of the country in a big way.AIR Itanagar Correspondent, Chief Minister Nabam Tuki also said his government has decided to give 10 percent job reservation to sportspersons and more than 500 posts in the state police will be filled up from the sports quota.He also announced that fund for construction of a multipurpose taekwondo hall will be sanctioned under SPA and construction of both indoor and outdoor stadiums will be taken up in all the districts.Around 600 taekwondo players and more than 100 officials are taking part in the four day event.In the first match of the championship on Sunday, Anuska Jain of Gujarat defeated Jyoti Pabiya of Chattisgarh in the 42 kg category.
