India's Leander Paes and his Russian partner Elena Vesnina will today lock horns with the French pair of Marc Gicquel and Mathilde Johansson in the pre-quarterfinals of the Mixed Doubles category in the French Open Tennis tournament at Paris.In their last match, the fifth seeded Indo-Russian duo defeated the Czech combine of Frantisek Cermak and Lucie Hradecka, in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1.Leander Paes will also play his Men's Doubles second round match today, in which he and his Austrian partner Alexander Peya will slug it out for a place in the pre-quarterfinals of the event. Paes and Peya will take on Russia's Mikhail Elgin and his partner from Uzbekistan, Denis Istomin.
