Star Indian woman boxer MC Mary Kom's dream of becoming World boxing champion a sixth time has been dashed to the ground. Five times world boxing champion, Mary Kom faced defeat in the Olympic qualifying tournament of the World Women Boxing Championships in the 51 kilogram weight category quarter finals 13-11 at the hands of second seed Nicola Adams of England in Qinhuangdao, China on Wednesday. However, Mary Kom's hope for an Olympic berth is still alive as there are two quota places for Asia in the 51 kilogram weight category, one of which has already been taken by top seed Rein Cancan of China. For the remaining place, Mary Kom has to wait till the competition for gold medal gets underway on Friday.
