In the rain affected match, Deccan Chargers made 126 runs with the loss of seven wickets. Chasing a victory target of 127 runs, Kolkata Knight Riders overhauled the target with six balls to spare. With this win Kolkata Knight Riders jumped to third place in the points table. It was Deccan's fifth defeat in a row and they are yet to win a contest in this edition of the league. In another match, Kings XI Punjab defeated Mumbai Indians by 6 wickets at the Wankhere Stadium in Mumbai last evening. In today's encounter, Rajasthan Royals will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur at 8 PM.
