In border district, Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir, out of 1892 sanctioned bunkers, 522 stands completed in all respects, while 345 are at superstructure level, 229 at slab level and 675 are at foundation level.<br />'' <br />'' This was revealed in a meeting convened by Rajouri District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad to review the pace of progress on the construction of border bunkers.<br />'' <br />'' In the meeting, a detailed discussion was held with regard to the issues hampering the construction, procurement of the key material and other issues.<br />'' <br />'' The DDC said that the main purpose of constructing the bunkers is to ensure the safety of the border residents during cross border firing and shelling. He gave instructions to the field functionaries of the executive agency to ensure time-bound completion of bunker construction.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />
