Pakistan today defeated Bangladesh by five wickets in the first One day International match to take a 1-0 lead in the three match series. Batting first at the Sher E Bangla cricket stadium at Mirpur, the Bangladesh team was bowled out for just 90 runs in 30.3 overs.Shahid Afridi continued his superb form with the ball bagging five wickets for only 25 runs. Chasing a target of 91 runs, the Pakistan team had some nervous moments as they lost four wickets for just 44 runs before they reached the target in the twenty fifth over losing five wickets. The second ODI will be played on Saturday at the same ground while the final ODI will be played on December 6 in Chittagong which will be followed by two Tests.
