West Indies further consolidated their first innings base on the second day of the third and final cricket test against India in Mumbai. On Wednesday, the visitors starting at their overnight score of 267 for two piled up 575 for nine at the draw of stumps.Bravo hit a superb 166 while Edward contributed 86. 81 by Powell and 61 by Samuels also came handy. Darren Bravo and Kieran Powell together scored 160 runs. Powell hit 81 runs in 165 balls, hitting 13 fours.However, he was finally caught by Dhoni off left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha. Bravo faced 265 balls and hit 16 fours and giving him company at the other end was Marlon Samuels at 18. Bravo was finally dismissed when he was caught by Dhoni as Aaron struck for the first time in his Test career. Samuels then played watchfully as he notched up his 12th Test half-century.But Aaron also took the wickets of Carlton Baugh and Darren Sammy, after which Ravi Rampaul was dismissed easily. At the end of the day, Fidel Edwards and Devendra Bishoo stood unbeaten at the stumps at seven and two runs respectively.
