In Arunachal Pradesh, preparation has been almost completed for hosting the 7th National Youth Boys and Girls National Weightlifting championships in Itanagar from on Tuesday. The state will also be holding the 48th Men and 24th Women Junior National Weightlifting from the 28th of this month at the same venue. Around 30 teams comprising more than one thousand weightlifters and 250 officials representing different states of the country will be participating in the Nine-Day long championship.State Chief Minister Nabam Tuki will inaugurate the championship at the Nyikum Niya Hall on Tuesday. Famous names like N. Kunjarani Devi and Karnam Malleswari are also in the fray in the national championship held in the state for the first time.
