India's Ankita Das crashed out of the World Junior Table Tennis Championships in Bahrain, ending India's challenge at the world meet. Ankita, who was ranked 25, fought valiantly before losing to China's World Number 10 Ruochen Gu 3-11, 2-11, 11-7, 8-11, 11-9, 12-14 in the quarter-finals yesterday.Earlier, Ankita had made it to the main draw through qualification. She caused a major upset in the pre-quarterfinals, when she defeated higher-ranked Hsien-Tzu Cheng of Chinese Taipei.
