Sports Minister Ajay Maken today said that Government will come with a strong anti-match fixing law. Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi, Mr. Maken said that he will consult the Home Ministry to formulate a stringent law to curb betting and match fixing.Reacting to claims made by former cricketer Vinod Kambli regarding fixation of 1996 World Cup semi final, the sports Minister asserted that Indian Cricket board, BCCI should launch an investigation into the matter. He said that cricket fans in the country have the right to know about the truth. Mr. Maken also reiterated that BCCI should come under the ambit of Right to Information.
