Asian bourses fell, today, after the US Federal Reserve failed to take any new steps to stimulate growth and offset the chilling effects of Europe's still-unresolved debt crisis. So Japan's Nikkei 225 index fell 0.4%; Hong Kong's Hang Seng lost 0.5%; China's Shanghai Composite index slid 0.9%; South Korea's Kospi also lost 0.3%; and Singapore's Straits Times index dropped 0.5%.And European stocks declined for the second day in three. Key benchmark indices in UK, France, and Germany were down by between 0.7% and 1.1% in intra-day trade, today.
