The 12th Senior National Women Boxing Championships concluded in Bhopal on Sunday. Haryana won the overall championship.A total of ten final bouts were played in different weight categories yesterday.Five time World Champion M C Mary Kom of Manipur was adjudged as the Best Boxer in the 12th Senior National Women Boxing Championships.Mary Kom clinched gold in Fly 51 kilogram category by defeating Pinky Jangra of Haryana 13-9.World Youth Champion Sarjubala Devi of Manipur defeated Krishna Thapa of host Madhya Pradesh 36-34 in Fly 48 kilogram category. Geeta Solanki of Delhi adjudged as the Most Promising Boxer. Haryana stood first in the ranking with 37 points. Manipur with 22 points and Railway Sports Promotion Board with 19 points secured second and third place respectively.
