In the 12th Senior Women Boxing Championships being played in Bhopal, five time world champion M C Marycom of Manipur and L Sarita Devi of All India Police stormed into the quarter final round of fly 51 kilogram category. M C Marycom defeated Shabana of Delhi 22-6 while L Sarita Devi beat Daljeet Kaur of Punjab 30-3.Meanwhile the Quarter final bouts will start from today.Sarjubala Devi of Manipur will take on A Puniavathi of Andhra Pradesh while Kalpana Choudhry of Railways Sports Promotion Board will meet K Manasa of Andhra Pradesh.Krishna Thapa of the host Madhya Pradesh will take on Rebbecca of Mizoram.Marycom and Sarita Devi will play their quarter final bouts on Friday.
