India's teen boxing sensation Vikas Krishan will meet Ukraine's Taras Shelestyuk tomorrow in the semi-finals of the World Boxing Championships. At Baku, Azerbaijan, last night, Vikas won a thriller of a contest to be the only Indian, among four in action, to make it to the last four stage. In the 69 kg division, the 19-year old defeated Moldova's Vasili Belous 9-8 in a nail-biting encounter. By entering the semi-finals, the Asian Games gold medalist has assured India at least a bronze medal.Three other Indian boxers, Devendro Singh, Manoj Kumar and Jai Bhagawan, who lost in the quarter-finals, qualified for the London Olympics, along with Vikas Krishan.
