Government today said that inflation will moderate by end of next month. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia said that efforts put in by government are showing results and inflation is expected to tip down by the year end.Mr. Ahluwalia added that Reserve Bank of India can moderate interest rates after the drop in inflation.He however expressed concern over the slow down in the growth of the economy.The Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission said that Indian economy is likely to register a growth of 7.6 to 8 percent in this fiscal. He attributed the slow growth to the ongoing global economic crisis.
