Indian Pugilists, Akhil Kumar and Suronjoy Mayengbam will play their respective opening round matches at the AIBA World Boxing Championships at Baku in Azerbaijan on Tuesday. Akhil Kumar will face Filip Barak of Slovakia in the Men's 56 kilogram Bantamweight category, while Suronjoy Mayengbam will take on Zsolt Dobradi of Hungary in the Men's 52 kilogram Flyweight category.On Monday, Devendro Laishram and Manpreet Singh advanced to the second round in their respective categories. In the Men's 46-49 kilogram Light flyweight category, Devendro Laishram defeated Asylbek Nazaraliev of Kyrgyzstan 14-8 in the first round bout. Earlier the other Indian pugilist, Manpreet Singh was awarded a bye in the 91 kilogram Men's Heavy weight category.
