Ruling out any move to disinvest in the national carrier Air India, the government on Thursday said at present all its efforts were focused on bringing the airline back on the track. Talking to the media on the sidelines of a seminar in New Delhi, Minister for Civil Aviation Vayalar Ravi said, there is no plan of disinvestment in Air India or to bring an IPO in the near future by the government. He added the Group of Ministers would soon meet to discuss the airlines's health.Calling on for greater efforts to increase air connectivity in the country, he said, India is ninth largest market in the sector and fourth in terms number of passengers after US, China and Japan but the connectivity is not up to the mark.Earlier, addressing the seminar held to mark 100 years of Civil Aviation in India, Mr Ravi said the government would soon look into the proposals and recommendations of various committees and commissions for improving the work environment of ATC as per the International Civil Aviation Organisation standards.
