India's Tintu Luka has qualified for the 2012 London Olympics. At the World Athletics Championships at Daegu, South Korea, on Friday, Tintu Luka finished with a time of 2 minutes, 0.95 seconds in the second semi-final heat of the women's 800 metres race. Tintu qualified for the quadrennial games, as her time was less than the B-qualification standard time of 2 minutes, 1.30 seconds for the London Olympics. However, Tintu failed to reach the finals of the event in the on-going athletics championship.
