Sania Mirza and Yaroslava Shvedova have entered the women's doubles final of the City Open tennis tournament. In the semi-finals of the 2 lakh 20,000 dollar WTA hard court tennis event at College Park in the United States, the Indo-Kazakh defeated fourth seeded Israeli-American pair of Shahar Peer and Sloan Stephens in straight sets 6-0 6-1. Sania and her partner will now will meet Olga Govortsova of Belarus and Russian All Kudryavtseva in the title clash. Sania paired with Yaroslava for this tournament since her regular Tour partner Elena Vesnina decided to skip the event. If Sania manages to win the final, it will be her 12th WTA career doubles title and third of the year.
