Novak Djokovic has become the first man from Serbia to bag the gentleman's Singles title at the prestigious Wimbledon Tennis Championships. This is his first Wimbledon and the third Grand Slam title after two Australian Open victories.At the Centre Court in London on Sunday, Djokovic yet again outplayed Spain's defending champion Rafael Nadal to win the final match, 6-4, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3. This is the Serb's fifth victory over Nadal this year.With this 50th triumph in 51 matches, Djokovic has not only dethroned Nadal from the Wimbledon title but also surpassed him as the World Number 1.Nadal, whose 20-match winning streak ended on Sunday, is now second in the Association of Tennis Professionals, ATP rankings while Switzerland's Roger Federer is third.
