Punjab today reached the semi final of the first National Senior Men's Hockey India championship after thrashing Bihar by a huge margin of 9 -Nil. For Punjab, Prabhdeep Singh scored 3 goals while Manpreet made two goals. Satbir Singh, Sarbanjit Singh, Ranjodh Singh and Harpreet Singh scored one goal each. In the 2nd quarter final, Karnataka defeated Air India by 2-1. In the third quarter final Jharkhand beat Railway by 2-1. Haryana will clash with Odisha in the 4th quarter final tonight.
