Sania Mirza and Russian Yelena Vesnina have entered into the quarter finals in doubles of French Open Tennis today, making place in final eight. Sania and Vesnina defeated Spain's Joens Martinenz and Marina Gorics in straight sets by 6-1, 6-4. In quarter finals Sania and Vesnina will take on Argentanian Gesalo Dulko and Italian Phlavia Peneta.Indian veteran Mahesh Bhupathi's campaign ended at the French Open today with a second round defeat in the mixed doubles event along with Chinese partner Jie Zheng. The fifth seed Indo-Chinese pair lost 6-4 3-6 7-10 to unseeded duo of Rennae Stubbs of Australia and Brazil's Marcelo Melo. Bhupathi has already exited from the men's doubles along with compatriot Leander Paes. India's hopes in the mixed doubles are still alive as Paes and his partner Iveta Benesova have reached the quarterfinals, where they are set to clash with top seeded pair of Katarina Srebotnik of Slovakia and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia.
