Issues related to financial sector reforms, strengthening the G-20 and IMF surveillance, the United Kingdom-India infrastructure partnership will be discussed in a high level meeting in London tomorrow being attended by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee among others. According to official sources Mr. Mukherjee left for London today along with a team comprising Department of Economic Affairs Secretary R Gopalan, Chief Economic Advisor Kaushik Basu and Sebi Chairman U K Sinha. The Finance Minister will co-chair the dialogue with George Osborne, Chancellor of Exchequer of UK. The issues of UK-India partnership in education and skills, structural policy reforms, macroeconomic policy issues and climate change will also be discussed during the meeting.
