India and Netherlands ink a pact on corporate governance. The Corporate Affairs Ministry has signed an agreement with the Dutch Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation Ministry on corporate governance and corporate social responsibility. An official release said that the agreement will intensify the existing successful bilateral trade and investment relations between the two countries by exchanging knowledge and information in the areas of corporate governance and corporate social responsibility. It added that the two countries also agreed to establish a working group and sub-groups in the corporate governance and corporate social responsibility and other corporate affairs. The pact was signed by Corporate Affairs Ministry Secretary D K Mittal and Netherlands Ambassador to India Bob Hiensch on behalf of his country during a function in New Delhi today.
