India have crashed out of the All England Badminton Championship, taking place at Birmingham. In the quarterfinals match on Friday, India's fifth-seed Saina Nehwal lost to the unseeded Japanese Eriko Hirose in straight games 21-11, 22-20 shattering the Indian hopes of claiming the coveted English title.The match was contested evenly right from the start but Hirose, who was a semi-finalist at the same event once before, took control by breaking through the rallies that Saina generally wraps up in her favour.
