Former Davis Cupper and wild card entrant Sunil Sipaeya of Haryana has entered the men's singles second round of the Rs 10 lakh-rupee Videocon All India Open Tennis Championship. In Mumbai on Tuesday, Sipaeya shocked third seed Mithun Murali of Tamil Nadu in straight sets 7-5 6-4. In another fixture, second seed Aditya Madkekar, nursing a shoulder injury, conceded the match to state rival Shabaaz Khan after trailing 1-4 in the opening set.In women's category, Gujarat's unseeded Vaibhavi Trivedi shut out eighth seed Shruti Archita from Maharashtra 6-4 6-0 to enter the quarterfinal.In other matches, fifth seed Zainab Sajjad of Andhra Pradesh beat Haryana's Ankita Bhatia 7-6, 6-4 while Tamilnadu's Sharon Paul blanked Maharashtra's Sayli Bilhare 6-0 6-0 in the quarter final.
