Novak Djokovic has won his second Australian Open title. In the Men's Singles final at a packed Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne today, Serbia's Davis Cup hero defeated Britain's Andy Murray in straight sets 6-4, 6-2, 6-3. Djokovic lifted his only previous major title in Melbourne three years ago in 2008. The Serbian star's victory has extended Britain's 75-year wait for a male Grand Slam singles champion. The last British man to win a Grand Slam singles title was Fred Perry at the 1936 U.S. Open – more than 270 majors ago. Djokovic completely dominated the Scot in the match which lasted two hours 39 minutes.
