In the 16th Asian Games at Guangzhou in China, Indian Hockey Team has bagged a bronze medal today in Men's section by defeating South Korea one-nil. With this bronze, India has so far got 7 Gold, 13 Silver and 27 Bronze medals in its kitty. In other events, World number one Indian Boxer Vijender Singh along with four other compatriots have stormed into the gold medal round in their respective categories. Vijender now meets Abbos Atoev of Uzbekistan for the gold medal fight tomorrow. The other four who have made it to the title round are teen sensation Vikas Krishan (60kg), Dinesh Kumar (81kg), Santosh Kumar (64kg) and Manpreet Singh (91kg). Indian Kabaddi team has also stormed into the final by beating Japan. China continue to lead the medal table in the 16th Asiad at Guangzhou. When reports last came in , the hosts led the table with a haul of 176 Gold, 96 Silver and 88 Bronze. South Korea hold the second spot with a tally of 71 Gold, 59 Silver and 81 Bronze. The third position is held by Japan with 36 Gold, 66 Silver and 79 Bronze. At present, India occupy the eleventh place. Pakistan will take on Malaysia in the Men's Hockey Final today.
