Continuing to fall for the third straight day, gold lost 40 rupees, to 20,720 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, today, on sluggish demand at prevailing higher levels. Silver dropped 130 rupees, to 44,820 rupees per kilo.In the Asian region, gold rose 0.2 per cent, to 1,389 dollars an ounce.
