Reacting to the robust figures of Industrial growth, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee today said, the figures are quite encouraging. He said he hoped the trend will continue and achievement of double digit growth would be possible in the current fiscal itself. The Minister said, all the three important sectors besides, agriculture and services are evenly growing, and contributing to the GDP, which is a healthy sign. Addressing the annual general meeting the Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee said that the economy is poised to register around 9 per cent growth this fiscal. He, however, cautioned that the crisis in the European economy may have some impact on India's growth. AIR correspondent reports that the Finance Minister brought home the message powerfully that it is important to offset any possible loss on the exports front due to recession in some countries of European Union.
