The Queen's Baton today arrived in India from Pakistan through Wagah-Attari joint check post in Amritsar this morning. The baton was received by the Chairman of Commonwealth Games and Indian Olympic Association's chief, Mr. Suresh Kalmadi from Pakistan Olympic Association's President Lieutenant General (Retd.) Syed Aris Hassan. The arrival of the Baton in India has set the tempo for the upcoming Commonwealth Games, 2010 to be held in New Delhi from October 3rd to 14th.
