In the ICC Women's Twenty20 cricket World Cup at St Kitts, Shelley Nitschke shone with both bat and ball to guide Australia to a comprehensive 24-run victory over South Africa in their Group A match. Nitschke blasted a 32-ball 44 and added 58-runs with Leah Poulton for the first wicket to help Australia post a competitive 155 all out in 19.3 overs after they were invited to bat first.The 33-year-old Nitschke then returned to scalp two crucial wickets giving away 21 runs to help Australia restrict South Africa to 131 for seven in 20 overs to complete the victory.Mignon du Preez then hit an unbeaten 53 off 46 balls, which included four fours and two sixes, but South Africa's middle order collapsed.
